Visiting Grand-Mother..

Going to a home to see your beloved ones, is always hard..but when you think: 'Wait a minuit, they're still alive..'; things become more soft to deal with... : )
Just hope that all of you respect the elderly in your families, cause they are a box of knowlege that you should respect...and don't forget that their spirit is the same as yours, just their outside changed with time...
My grandmother told me once, when she was still ok in her mind, that the sad thing about being old is that you are still young inside...so, think about it and respect it, cause one day the old person is sudendely you..; )

The new coast....

 .
Took a walk/bicicle trip to what is considered the new coast here where we live. It was 5km to get there, wich turned out to be a 15, with all our walking about...:) Pretty tired and thirsty when we got home...:) Found a lot of seashells on the way. Going to make some trays or something out of them. We will see..:)

Rosé...

By the way.....if you are ever looking for a good rosé wine....: MATEUS!!!!!!

A nice dinner..

To cellebrate the beginning  of the course of Denny, the Huggers went out to have a nice dinner with some rosé wine.. : )
She was very happy to be able to afford her course, thanks to ther hard work of the summer job in Tromsø..cause, before she moved to Norway she was never able to afford anything due to the crisis of her country, but now, finally one dream has come true: beeing able too study, and only that,  without having to work on the side or count coins!.. : )

Portugal!!..

We made it!.. :)
After windy nights of driving, switching the carburator, dripping oil, faulty windshield wipers, wild animal mountains, weird gang people, bumpy roads,  hundreds of coffees, messy toilets, boring highways in 40 km/h, in a Beetle of 1969 dragging a caravan of 1970...we arrived at our objective, we drove from Norway, Tromsoe (north pole) to Portugal, Aveiro ( south europe)..hehehe.. : ) With all the kilometers included, we drove 6000 kilometers. It is sooooo cool to have done it with these veteran vehichles.:)
So guess what we did...: mini beers and beach...celebration of the 'Huggers Trip'.. : )
But the story continues..we will keep posting.. ; )

Endless Spain...

Spain has to be the worst driving place for people stupid enough to cross with a Beetle and a heavy trailer;). Cause it is windy as hell, and ofcourse the wind hits you head on ALL the way. And if you just have 40 horsepowers glued to your ass, heavy winds slow you down immensely.... We crossed Spain doing an average speed of 40km/h......yes, that is only 40 km passed every hour. So we kind of nearly wore out our blinking lights, wich had to be constantly on so that the trucks that pass us in 100km/h or so would have any chance to spot us:). We cant think of anyone that has driven Spain any slower than that. Anyway, on top of that, it was impossible to find anywhere with a Wifi connection. Think we found one place in all of Spain. So we are sorry for the few posts.....We have to say that we are impressed with our beetle. It has taken a terrible beating, and besides it dripping oil, it just keeps on going......
